- The Comic's Title
I am a "Lord of the Rings" fanatic. When once asked, "Which have you read more, the Bible or the Lord of the Rings" I answered, "Oh, the Bible, definately." Then I was asked, "What about before your mission?" It was rather scary that I had to stop and think about that for a while.
So, I was quite dissappointed that the movies were being made and I wouldn't be able to go and see them! During my mission I had my share of bending rules by watching the occasional show on a muted TV that peoiple wouldn't turn off and watching a few movie trailers on people's computers, but going to see a movie in a theater or a home was not an option. (If that doesn't make sense to you, I'm sorry, it's just how I view things, and I doubt I can make it any clearer. Please note that all missionaries can't see movies or watch TV ever. It's just like going on a date during your mission: it's just not going to happen.)
I finally saw them when I got home, and, let me tell you, the wait was worth it, because I only had to wait three weeks between the time I first saw "Fellowship of the Ring" and "Return of the King". I also saw "The Two Towers" some seventy-billion times inbetween.
